Design Philosophy:  The asymmetrical lines of Cubist paintings and the bold shapes of the basaltic boulders at Castle Rock are used as a source of inspiration and to determine the line form of my design.

I believe the world dynamic is best expressed by both Cubist painting and basaltic rock. The design wishes to express this dynamic, in both its physical and conceptual form, from the asymmetric lines to the diverse spaces revealed by the variations of water level.

Vegetation changes reflect life cycles, and movement of shadows during the day create a dynamic design that expresses its surroundings.
