LASC 322 Sustainable Design and Planning
CollectionLandscape Architecture SoLA Course WorkDescription
LASC 322 is part of the programme of study offered by the School of Landscape Architecture at Lincoln University.
Sustainability is a key goal of landscape architecture, planning and urban design. This course provides students with an understanding of core issues, concepts and techniques needed to successfully address sustainability at a range of scales.
Further, it examines links between issues of sustainability and those of place making and the design of instrumental behaviours.
The studio prepares students for their final year of design when they will be required to address complex problems through the application of appropriate theory in support of multiple scaled design solutions
