The Landscape

The Landscape : Journal of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects, Inc. was published from no. 1 September 1976 to no. 54 Winter 1994, and edited by Charlie Challenger at Lincoln College. The journal was launched with the stated aim of being "a valuable means of maintaining contact with developments in the overall field of landscape architecture."

• It has a prime concern with the needs of the environment, and the needs of human beings
• It attempts to reconcile the physical needs of our modern life with these basic needs
• It's objective is to produce a practical philosophy which puts the soul back into the use and development of land

The Landscape is the Journal of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects. it reflects the attitudes of people working in the landscape field, both in New Zealand and overseas. It shows trends, it illustrates deeds. It will keep you up to date in this advancing field."
